MORNING PRAYER (June 16, 2009)

“If you believe that Jesus is the Christ -

that He is God's Son and your Savior -

then you are a child of God”...

(1 John 5:1, The LB Paraphrased).

Father, we believe that Jesus is the Christ who was sent by You to redeem the world of its' sin. We joyously proclaim Your Son as our Holy Savior, and give thanks for His unselfish act of love - We are forever grateful for the stripes that He bore for our sins. Each mark upon His tender flesh was received for our salvation. His precious blood was shed with love, so that we could live an eternity with You as Your children.

As children of God, we confess our sins, and stand beneath the Heavens to declare our love for Jesus, and ask Him into our hearts. Amen.
