"And God said, 'Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to make seasons and days and years'...And it was so...He also made the stars...And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning - the fourth day." (Genesis 1:14-19, NIV)
As tiny stars twinkle
throughout the skies at night,
the earth is truly blest
with visions of God's light.
Created by our Father
they shine in darkened skies.
Each of them performing
before our very eyes.
They glitter and they sparkle
around the well lit moon,
giving the appearance
they're dancing to a tune.
We thank You, Holy Father,
for these blessed lights,
shining in the Heavens
that light our paths at night.
Thank You for creating glorious stars that shine in the Heaven, Father. Amen.
