MORNING PRAYER (July 28, 2009)

Many do not like to talk or think about death. They fear the unknown, but the Lord tells us to "fear not" because He is with us..."Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies" (Psalm 4-5, NIV).

In life there is death, and in death there is life. The Father knows the moment He will call us Home. As we pass from this place to arrive at Heaven's Gates, He will be watching and waiting with love. His eyes will consume us as His arms embrace us, for
"precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints"(Psalm 116:15, NIV) - We will know and feel welcome, in the House of the Lord, by His love....O, happy are those who are called to celebrate a new life in His Kingdom - A Kingdom where darkness, pain and suffering will be of the past - A Kingdom where we will be safe from all that is not of God - A Kingdom where a table will be set before us and a magnificent celebration planned for our Homecoming - A Kingdom where our King is our Heavenly Host - Hosanna on High.

Father, You are the Beginning and the End - Creator of life Who mapped out a journey for all on earth. You breathed life into each of us, and gave us a purpose - to serve and love You. I pray we do this well.

Lord, we are grateful that Heaven holds the future where Your perfect peace, love, joy, and tranquility are eternally present, for there is where we will dwell - in the House of the Lord forever, because Jesus made it possible. Amen.
